There are an astonishing number of people we want to thank and without them we couldn't have done this film. We have asked and have used everyone we know and were fortunate to make many more friends along the way. It has been a long and exciting year and we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude, appreciation and love. PRE-PRODUCTION Lazy Susan's Logo Lazy Susan's beautiful logo was designed by the talented Janine Vangool from UPPERCASE GALLERY. Janine is the founder and owner of Uppercase Gallery, one of the most creative, aesthetic and innovative stores and design companies in Calgary. Thank you Janine
Printing Printing of the silent auction letter and the promo postcards were generously donated by DigiCopy, printing and reprographics centre. DigiCopy is professional, fast and produces quality images. Thank you Azim
The Fundraiser Messengers
An extrovert by nature, a silent auction can’t flourish without people knowing about it. For this I have to thank couple of dear friends that endure constant e-mails and reminders and spread the word in repetitive mass e-mails. Lazy Susan Productions would like to thank: Glen Petruic, the crusader of the silent auction and the apostle of The Wedding, who has spread the word to the heathen land of Nexen, daily and relentlessly. Emmanuelle Piron, the French confidant, who carried the message to the Mighty Husky with panache and charm. Andrew Nimo, who was resurrected after years of silence to carry the news of the auction to the vast Empire of En Cana. Rachel Newrick, who at the flick of her finger, not only spread the rumor in Nexen, but also called her allies from far away lands at Shell, Petro-Canada and Talisman. Janet Harvey, who passionately, enthusiastically and generously advanced the cause of the film to the superpower CNRL and the great IHS. Dr. Jacqueline Jenkins, who eloquently transmitted the message at the gates of the University of Calgary. Aviv Fried, for helping with the organization, uploading the website every night several times, since Michal, as established earlier, CAN’T spell, and for a plethora of other services that can’t be described. I would like to thank Shannon Green, Giselle LaBrie, Heather Bishop, Lori Ibbitson who are true friends. ACTRA We need to extend a special thanks to Donna Burdwood and Jennifer Blaney from the Calgary branch of ACTRA. Both Donna and Jennifer have been extremely gracious, generous and supportive even when we tested their patience. We will be better organized next time Thank you Donna and Jennifer
PRODUCTION GAPS - The Prop Shop We had a dream wedding scene thanks to the creative and resourceful girls at Gaps. In less than two hours tables were set, chandelier was hung, an 8 foot fabric erected and hung and decor set. Not in our most fanciful fantasies did we think it's going to look that magnificent. Thank you Gill and Nancy Round Midnight - Jazz Band
Round Midnight is a Calgary based six piece jazz band who plays smooth, silky jazz. Featuring Brad Moodie on trumpet and flugelhorn, Shawn Ferguson on saxophone, Matt Brockman on bass, Jim Shultz on guitar, Mike Jones on piano and Ken Hare on drums, there is virtually nothing they can't play. Thank you Ken, Brad, Shawn, Matt and Jim Sarah Reynolds - The Cake Maker
Sarah Reyonlds is the accomplished cake maker. It is not a real wedding without a cake, and Sarah baked a gorgeous, tasty piece of art. You can contact Sarah at: sjreynolds@shaw.ca Thank you Sarah
