Michal has dabbed in writing and photography, but specialized in self deprecation. Although she achieved great success in this field she thinks she might be ready to explore other mediums that would complement her talent, such as film making. Michal treats the making of this film and organizing this fundraiser as form of therapy since she is learning to ask favors and dealing with rejection at the same time. She managed to quantify her life in numbers.
MICHAL‘S ARITHMETICS(ALTERNATIVE RESUME )EDUCATION3 - The number of times I went to university before graduated with a degree I don’t like
RELEVANT JOB EXPERIENCE27 - The number of restaurants I was fired from as a waitress for making, what was in my opinion, witty comments. It is a career path I no longer consider
SKILLS7 - The number of driving tests I took before I got my driving license. In one of them, I drove against traffic on a three-lane highway. I resourcefully backed up, but still failed6 - The number of traffic signs I am positive of their meaning 1,687,432 – The approximate number of times I got lost. To this very day my dad will try and give me cab money instead of directions 29 - The age I decided to take on skateboarding because I thought I am going to look cool 67 – The number of days I used crutches after breaking my tibia and fibula 9 - The number of pins that I have in my left ankle 5 – The number of languages I can curse in fluently
HOBBIES4 – The number of hobbies I have, reading, watching films, wishing I wrote books and wishing I made films14- The number of times I tried to quit smoking before finally succeeding. I still think it made me look cool.
A BIT ABOUT MYSELF16 - My age when I decided I was an atheist1- The number of times I re-considered: I was taking a diving course in Mexico and thought I looked pretty hot in the dry suit. When I tried to smoothly jump off the boat I crushed face first into the water to the astonishment of all the beach goers. I still don’t believe in god but I try never to feel good about my body either 4 - The number of my lesbian friends that think my boyfriend is hotter 5 - The number of characters I find unforgivable: chauvinists, people who don’t recycle, cheap people, book jacket readers and people who speak slowly |
