RAE FARRER - ZOE

I started to train with the Company of Rogues Actors' Studio when I moved to Calgary and was lucky enough to find the most amazing mentors there. I also began to surround myself with lovely, like-minded people who were receptive to my art and creativity and I've never looked back. I've performed with Rogues' Theater in Dinner With Friends, Push Up 1-3 and Tape. I've also been active in television and film and will continue to pursue more roles, vigorously, until I kick my day job and become a "real actor". In the spirit of being thankful for the amazing people around me, I thank you, Jen and Michal, for making me a part of this. I loved working with you and everyone on this film. xo

(ALTERNATIVE RESUME)
11 - The number of kids in my family, of which I am the youngest

17 - The number of times I am an aunt
6 - The number of times I am a great aunt
2 - The number of family members from which I inherited my first given name: Edna. Call me Rae

5 - The number of times that the bouquet came at me and I deliberately missed it. I actually slapped it away twice. All that practice with my family...
1 - The number of times I saw a hair-pulling, dress-splitting fight break out over a bouquet toss. Sweet
30 - the number of times I have done the polka and chicken-dance. Seriously; only at six of those weddings did I not hear the chicken dance
2 - The number of times that I have encouraged a bride to reconsider marrying the person she was going to marry. I would have worried that I was going to hell for it but I was right both times
8 - The number of weddings I have stood up in. I've worn almost as many colours of taffeta
2 - The number of times that I have given a rambling, drunken speech in honour of the bride. Yes, I was THAT person. Not my proudest moments
0 - The number of bride's maid dresses I have worn again
7 - The number of years I have been in Calgary
12 - the number of years I put off the pursuit of what I love: acting
5 - The number of years ago that I finally started doing that
2 - The number of degrees I got in university in the pursuit of a "real job"
6 - The number of years it took me to get those degrees while supporting myself by serving drinks
2 - The number of times I was on academic probation during those years because I rarely studied, rarely went to class and usually showed up to an organic chemistry final after 5 hours of studying and 2 hours of sleep. I loaded up on fun times though...and I can still remember the first 5 amino acids: Glycine, alanine, valine, leusine, isoleusine. See? It was totally worth it

COLIN LOGISS - COLIN

A dear friend, a dandy, immaculately dressed and with a sense of humor that is drier than a Martin, Colin was the obvious choice to play Colin. All the more since the part was written for him and he happens to own Twigs, the most beautiful flower shop in Calgary. He was a tad surprised to audition for the role of himself.
Colin's Life in numbers should be nothing short of extraordinary, should he ever write it.
